To mark German Apple Day, a very special highlight was created in Dresden: an impressive drone show with 200 drones that transformed the night sky into a unique visual experience and staged the significance of the apple in a modern way.
The drone show served not only as entertainment, but above all as a tribute to and showcase of one of Germany's most important agricultural products. Precisely choreographed flight maneuvers created impressive displays in the sky – including stylized apples, dynamic animations, and thematically coordinated visuals centered around the apple. The combination of drone light show, music, and creative staging made the event an emotional experience for all visitors.
German Apple Day stands for tradition, regionality, and sustainability. The drone show brought these values to the skies in an innovative way, demonstrating how classic themes can be impressively combined with modern technology. The location on the Elbe River in Dresden provided an ideal backdrop, ensuring the drone show was visible throughout the city.
Drone show under extreme conditions
Performing the show under challenging weather conditions presented a particular challenge. Despite temperatures of -7°C and noticeable gusts of wind, the show was nevertheless carried out safely and reliably. This underscores the technical capabilities and precise planning behind modern drone shows.
