A drone show is a coordinated light display in the sky, in which numerous LED drones fly in synchronized formations. This creates images, logos, or animations. Professional drone shows are individually programmed and are used at corporate events, festivals, city events, or weddings.
Drones are controlled via central software and move precisely within space using GPS. Each drone knows its position and follows a programmed flight plan. Safety mechanisms such as geofencing and automatic return functions ensure controlled operations.
The actual show duration is usually between 8 and 15 minutes. Depending on the event concept, up to three shows can be flown consecutively.
The flight altitude depends on safety regulations and the surrounding environment. Drones typically fly between 30 and 120 meters high.
Drone shows are significantly quieter than traditional fireworks. At higher altitudes, the noise is usually barely perceptible to the audience.
Drone shows are most effective at dusk or in darkness. During the day, effects are technically possible, but difficult to see.
Yes, motifs, colors, animations and messages can be individually tailored to companies, brands or private occasions.
Yes, drone shows are generally weather-dependent, as factors such as strong winds, thunderstorms, or heavy rain can affect safety. The safety of the audience, the surrounding area, and the equipment is always our top priority. In extreme weather conditions, a show may be postponed or rescheduled. However, thanks to careful planning, flexible procedures, and modern, weather-resistant technology, we have been able to successfully execute every planned drone show so far.
Drone shows are considered a more environmentally friendly alternative to fireworks, as they do not produce particulate matter or explosion residue.
For larger events, we recommend a lead time of 2–3 months to optimally implement show design, safety concept, and obtain official permits. Short-notice requests are generally possible – depending on location and availability.
